We have used Tucci in the past, and will have a Tucci Day and facility tour in late March or Early April and we will continue to offer Tucci bats, but the price point here is excellent, especially for our older players who are beginning to break bats more regularly.
Teams at 14U, 16U, and 17U will play wood bat tournaments this Spring/Summer
To assist you in choosing a bat model, Coach Jay has provided some information and comparison to the Tucci line to help you decide.
- Zx10 is a TL-110 very balanced bat with a slightly thicker handle and gradual taper thru barrel
- Zx13 is a TL-i13 big end loaded bottle shaped barrel with a thin handle and slight flare in knob. Made for a stronger swinger
- Zx43 is a TL-243 very similar to Zx13 outwith a traditional knob and slightly thicker handle. Same end loaded bottle shaped barrel
- Zx71 is a TL-271 The most popular model in all baseball. Flared knob and thin handle to a tapered barrel for an extremely balanced bat.
- Zx73 is TL-72. This is another balanced bat with a thin handle and traditional knob with a tapered barrel. Model Derek Jeter used is entire career.
How to order.
Use the custom bat or glove designer on the Akadema website. Design your Bat or Glove and go all the way to the end then click the blue “buy now” button and it will reveal a manifest (not the image of the glove) of everything you previously clicked.
At that point, screen shot that manifest and email it to Akadema.
Akadema will then get the ball rolling and take you Credit Card and shipping information.
